Document Scanning Feature on the iPhone

A recent the Vox article reports that Google Drive is adding document scanning features to iPhones and Android phones. “Drive users across iOS and Android can quickly scan and import documents, and even get auto-generated title suggestions in the US.”

The feature was reportedly already available for Android phones users, but until now, iPhone and iPad users haven’t had the same option. This 9To5 Google article describes the detail how the features work.

According to Google, the new iOS features are rolling out now, and are already available on Android. Google’s scanner is accessible in the Drive app on iOS and Android either via the camera icon on the bottom right, or by tapping the “+” icon and selecting “Scan.”
