It was reported that ‘Fox News also called the race for Biden a short while later after declaring him the winner in Pennsylvania and Nevada’.

According The New York Times reporter John Koblin, CNN was the first TV network to call the race for Biden. “After four long tense days, we’ve reached a historic moment in this election. We can now project the winner of the presidential race,” CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer announced at 11:24 a.m.

The New York Times reporters Jeffrey Gettleman and Prakash Elumalai write that this historic victory of the Kamala Harris, Joe Biden’s running mate, was celebrated in Thulasendrapuram India, the hamlet where Ms. Harris’s Indian grandfather was born more than 100 years ago.

We Remain Divided

Just like any large extended families, the United States of America is a large, composed of more than 50 states and over 300 millions citizens. Just like in our family, … That makes us, as some people like to call it, as a Divided States of America. The following Tweet from New York Times Graphics highlights, current American peoples pulse.

Official Verdict Awaits

Though the most media outlets have rendered their verdicts, official verdicts, votes certification from most contested states is pending. Votes (absentee, mail-in, military-members from abroad) are still being tabulated. Votes counting irregularities are still being contested, as of to-day, in the state, federal and the Supreme Court. Until all the vote counting is completed and certified, official declaration of the election remains unclear. Even after the official declaration, losing party could content the outcome in the courts.

Still, there is some time before the final becomes clear. However, one thing is clear: Americans rendered their verdicts for divided government — House (democratic), Senate (Republican) and White House (democratic?).

Lets hope this fractured country gets little healing!
